I am prevented from talking about the project under an NDA.
Worten is a huge company belonging to SONAE, one of the biggest
groups in Portugal.
Worten specializes in selling technology products and services to
the public.
With over 300.000 products available online, we had to create our
own CMS.
I was part of the team (Worten Tech Team) who made it happen.
The website was developed using an atomic design approach.
We used a well known technology to develop components with a pixel
perfect philosophy and an agile methodology. On the front-end we
were using Vue.js for a state of the art performance. It was a very
demanding project with serious architecture.
My job in this project was to create atoms, molecules, components
and ultimately pages.
I was lucky to be part of this amazing team who made it happen it
together.
I learned a lot about the development process and how to make the
best use of the tools I had.
Given the time frames we had, we used an Agile methodology and some
tweaks to keep it all together.
It was a great experience to work with a team of people who are
passionate about what they do.
